Renowned Ugandan fashion designer and entrepreneur Abryanz has taken his influence to the global stage by participating in the BRICS+ Fashion Summit in Moscow.

The summit, held from October 3 to 5, gathered fashion leaders from over 100 countries, aiming to reshape the fashion industry on a global scale.

One of the summit’s key outcomes was the formation of the BRICS International Fashion Federation.

This new organization aims to create new centers of influence in fashion, foster international collaboration, promote industry sustainability, and provide emerging designers with growth opportunities.

Abryanz, who also serves as CEO of the Uganda Fashion Designers Association, was voted to the Federation’s committee, a testament to his influence in both Ugandan and international fashion circles.

For years, he has been recognized as a leading figure in Uganda’s fashion industry and has gained global attention for his creative designs and business ventures.

The BRICS+ Fashion Summit is the largest event of its kind for emerging markets, and it provided a platform for designers, brands, and industry leaders to come together to discuss the future of fashion.

The Federation is designed to be inclusive, welcoming members from around the world who share its values of supporting local talent, promoting sustainable fashion, and fostering cultural exchange.

The Federation also plans to focus on technology, the preservation of cultural heritage, and support for arts and crafts, with an official membership application process to be launched soon.

This marks a significant moment for Uganda’s fashion scene, as Abryanz continues to elevate the country’s presence on the international fashion stage.
