Musician Lil Pazo has offered a Shs 50 million reward to any Ugandan artist who can secure a private meeting with President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni at night, excluding Jose Chameleone, Eddy Kenzo, Bebe Cool and Alien Skin.

Pazo, who says he has had a few encounters with the Head of State, believes that accessing the President for a private meeting, particularly at night, is not as easy as some people might think.
According to the singer, anyone seeking to meet Museveni must have a compelling reason and the right connections to gain access, arguing that fame alone is not enough to open the doors to State House or other places where the President may be staying.
“Let them put a TikTok Live at midnight and say they are on their way to Nakasero to meet the President. The first thing you’re asked is, who are you in this country and what is the reason for your visit? Those are things very few people have. You can’t just enter,” Pazo said.
The musician challenged artists who consider themselves influential in Uganda to prove their status by arranging a private meeting with Museveni at their own convenience, without relying on official channels or publicly announced appointments.
Pazo’s challenge comes as several musicians have maintained close relationships with the President, with some meeting him during official engagements, presidential visits and other events.
However, he insists that securing a private audience with Museveni at night is a different matter altogether, suggesting that only a select few personalities have the influence or access required to make such a meeting possible.
By putting Shs 50 million on the line, Pazo has now challenged Uganda’s music fraternity to demonstrate just how much influence they have beyond their popularity in the entertainment industry.
