In a recent statement, dancehall singer Mudra D’Viral, has strongly cautioned against the occurrence of violence during artists’ camps.
Expressing concern over the recent clash between the camps of fast-rising singers Fik Gaza and Alien Skin in Makindye, a suburb of Kampala, Mudra D’Viral emphasized the need for artists to prioritize peace and unity.
Addressing the community with a heartfelt message, Mudra D’Viral stated, “Waguan my Ras Bros, hope this reaches well. Let’s keep our circles away from violence. Have always had such embargos that are not even commended by any of us (Artistes). We could start from bu small, small meet ups amongst our camps to cut the beef and share the meat!!!!!”
The plea for non-violence comes in the wake of a violent altercation that occurred just hours ago, resulting in injuries among members of the Fik Gaza and Alien Skin camps.
The incident took place in Makindye, a suburb of Kampala, raising concerns about the escalating tensions within the music community.
Mudra D’Viral’s call for unity and peaceful resolution is timely, considering the impact such clashes can have on the industry and the artists involved. Violence not only jeopardizes the safety of individuals but also tarnishes the reputation of the music community as a whole.
The artist emphasized the importance of resolving conflicts through dialogue and small, amicable meetups among different camps. Encouraging artists to set aside differences and come together, Mudra D’Viral hopes that a collaborative effort can help prevent future instances of violence.
As the music industry continues to grow, it is crucial for artists to foster a positive and supportive environment. Mudra D’Viral’s message serves as a reminder that unity and collaboration can contribute to the overall success and well-being of the music community. We will keep you posted
