These are the business topics that made Ugandans have a nasty business year in 2013. Most Ugandans continue to experience difficulty in these Business fields and topics. These are the top ten according to Google trends for 2013.

1. Management
How do you manage a Business? It is believed that Management is the leading cause of Business failure in Uganda. So, we had to search for all tips about Management.

2. Marketing
How do you market a Business? How do you market yourself? The viral growth of BigEye.ug as the 5th most powerful Business Brand in Uganda had many people asking questions concerning marketing.

“The #SamsungTwitterParty is back! Get ready to party the night away come 19th December at Zone 7 with fellow tweeps. Entrance is 15,000shs. Call 0775439894 for details. Great music and drinks.”

3. Planning
Ugandans still don’t understand how one plans to have an appointment at 10AM but ends up arriving at 2PM. So how does one plan? Anyway, we have the only man with a vision to plan for us.

4. Entrepreneurship
How do you begin a business? How do you become an entrepreneur? These are questions Ugandans googled in 2013.

5. Motivation
Honestly, Ugandans don’t need motivation, they need canes. You can’t motivate an idiot otherwise, you will have millions of motivated idiots. You can’t motivate someone to keep time. You can’t motivate someone to stop being corrupt, such people need canes.

6. Ethics
Bikini Car washes, Bikini Club Nights, Corruption, Fraud, Sextapes, all these things saw us questioning our ethics. Lokodo where are you? This is your job.

7. Economics
We were baffled by this Economics Puzzle. A MUK girl without a job, driving a RAV-4 that consumes 70K worth of fuel every week, plaits hair worth 150K every after two days, sleeps in a 460K apartment in Naalya, spends not less than 20K on meals per day, spends not less than 30K on airtime per week. So the Economic question was; Is this magic or is there a virtual income source that funds such a girl’s lifestyle.

8. Law
Who are the best lawyers? Was the Lord Mayor impeached? What came first, the impeachment or the court injunction? The chicken or the egg? These are some law questions that continued to disturb us.

9. Technology
When Ugandan MPs received their i-Pads, they began searching for. “How to find the mouse of the i-Pad.” How to find the keyboard of the i-pad.

10. Procurement
Apparently, ever since one Employee of a certain Ministry came up and told us that a certain tractor was able to use both diesel and petrol, and had thus spent 3 million on diesel and 5 million on Petrol, we had to google about procurement. What kind of tractor takes in two types of fuel? Mbu his car used Kerosene.
