Roast and Rhyme

Roast and Rhyme, a picnic-style event hosted by the lakeside which has become a mainstay on the social calendar, returns for its 9th edition next month. To be held under the theme, “Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam”, it is slated for Sunday, February 24 at its home, Jahazi Pier Munyonyo.

Speaking to Jaylor Birungi, the PRO Swangz Avenue, she informed us that  “the Reggae Ragga Nyam Nyam edition is aimed to bring all Reggae & Ragga music fans together to have a fun Sunday afternoon with friends & family by the lakeside.”

“We will showcase the best of Uganda’s music acts with top notch production as has been the norm with past editions,” she added.

Gates will open at 11am and there will also be a kids play area with lots of games to keep the little ones busy too.

Roast and Rhyme is a triannual out-door family event organized by Swangz Avenue.
