The Burundian and Rwandan community in Uganda have found a day and place to celebrate their music in the country. The event will take place at Trendz lounge in Bugolobi on Saturday, June 25.
The event is intended to bring together all individuals who enjoy music from Rwanda and Burundi. Organisers have told us there will be a guest artiste from either Rwanda or Burundi.
“Our music is not so popular in this country and you hear two or three songs in a night club if you are very lucky, the rest is from either Europe or West Africa. So we are finding just one night and venue to enjoy only our music,” the event organisers revealed to us.
