Tanzania’s heartthrob Ali Kiba was attacked by thugs in Johannesburg, South Africa where he had gone to shoot a music video. The Bongo musician was in the company of an upcoming Tanzanian artist Baraka The Prince. The two had flown to South Africa to shoot a Music video for a song they had collaborated on.
Baraka The Prince’s management, Rockstar4000 released a statement which reported the attack. The statement said that the two were attacked alongside other South Africans as they were in a meeting prepping for their video shoot.
Here is what the statement said:
“Baraka The Prince and Ali Kiba were in a meeting with the video crew in their offices. The meeting was disrupted by a group of 6 gun wielding thugs who broke a wall to access the offices where Ali Kiba, Baraka The Prince and others were. They robbed every one of their properties, including some office equipment at gun point. However, we are happy to inform the public that Ali Kiba and Baraka The Prince are okay because no one was injured during the robbery.”
The management went on to assure Ali Kiba and Baraka’s fans that the incident will not stop the two from going ahead with the scheduled video shoot.
“Both Ali Kiba and Baraka Da Prince are okay and they would like to assure their fans that they are fine and are resting for a day to forget the robbery before proceeding with the video shoot and other projects for their Africa and world fans.”
