Musician Exodus is credited for taking Ugandan gospel music to the next level. From releasing massive gospel hits to supporting fellow gospel artistes and even working with secular ones, the singer has cast his name in stone as a great artiste.
This has brought him so much love both from Kampala and several parts of Uganda and the world.
Case in point is West Nile where the singer received massive love in the recently concluded Easter music tour.
Exodus and his team arrived in West Nile on Good Friday and the first show was in Koboko at the Blue Dove grounds which is approximately 45mins drive from Arua. He says that because of the rain, he was skeptical people would turn up. But to his surprise the love they showed was massive.
“As we set off on Saturday, it started raining way from heavily on the way from Arua. I thought the show was going to be a flop but to my surprise we arrive at the Blue Dove grounds in the rain and this big crowd outside as we were helped by security and what was in the grounds was equally overwhelming.”
Exodus then entertained fans and both shows in Arua and Koboko were sold out.
The Igwe singer confessed that he didn’t know he had that much love in Westnile. He signed autographs, sang for fans and had fun before heading to Kampala.
Well done Exodus. Keep the gospel flag rising high.
