Singer and TikToker Winnie Wa Mummy has revealed that she would have pursued a career in accounting if she had not ventured into music and the limelight.

Speaking to Flavia Namulindwa, Winnie said her career aspirations changed as she grew older, but becoming an accountant remained the profession she admired most.

Despite her commitment to music, the singer revealed that she has not abandoned her dream of studying accounting, noting that advancements in technology have made it easier to pursue education online.

“We are still there and it’s possible to pursue it again. Music is a full-time job, but I’m the engine,” she joked.

Winnie explained that she believes she can balance her music career with education, family and her social life through proper time management.

She said she could dedicate specific days to recording music, allowing her to work on several songs before setting aside time for other aspects of her life.

“I can give myself two days in the studio and do five songs, then this other time I can balance myself and give myself, family and friends time, and then school,” she said.

Winnie’s remarks suggest that while music remains her full-time commitment, she is still open to pursuing her academic ambitions and becoming an accountant in the future.
