In a bid to further enhance its growing network and create awareness about the interbank financial services it offers, Interswitch Uganda in partnership with Interswitch member banks has rolled out a promotion dubbed WIN BIG Promotion.
The 13 member banks on the network include; Centenary Bank, Cairo International Bank, Commercial Bank for Africa, DFCU Bank, Finance Trust Bank, FINCA, GTBank, Imperial Bank, NC Bank, Opportunity Bank, Orient Bank , Post Bank and United Bank for Africa.
The promotion allows ATM cardholders of the 13 Interswitch member banks win cash when they use the ATM of a bank that isn’t theirs, thereby using the Interswitch interbank service.
Speaking at the breakfast launch Interswitch CEO, Mr. Olumuyiwa Asagba, explained that the service that links the 13 banks offers the ATM cardholders/customers of the member banks a convenient, secure and affordable way to access their money from their accounts at any of the 290 ATMs , 24 hours a day, anywhere in Uganda.
He further explained that Interswitch member banks customers are encouraged to participate in this promotion by simply withdrawing any amount of cash at an ATM of any of the other member banks. The more transactions carried out the more the chances of winning. Weekly draws will be held for 7 weeks with cash prizes of 100,000/= and grand prizes range from shs500,000 to shs1,000,000that will be given out at the end of the promotion.
The promotion is to run from 14th October to 8th December 2014.
