Infinix mobility recently launched its mind blowing Infinix Note 6 with spectacular tech specifications.
The Note 6 is a successor of Note 5, which was launched in June last year and as you would expect, the new NOTE6 comes with better, impressive and updated specifications and features.
The major highlight of the NOTE6 is that it comes equipped with a modified X Pen stylus which is an upgrade compared to previous Infinix Stylus, packed with ARCore feature (Google’s platform for building augmented reality experiences).

The Infinix NOTE6 comes with a 6.1-inch Full View AMOLED display along with 2.5D curved glass and an aspect ratio of the panel is 19:9 and resolution of1080 x 2160 pixels giving a user a vivid and more colorful experience with minimum power consumption. This is a great experience for users that love watching videos, movies as well as playing games on their smartphones at their own convenience.
The NOTE6 AI and AR powered X Pen stylus comes with a lot of interesting functions which automatically detects and connects phone numbers, reminders, alarm clocks from the content recorded. The X-pen can be used to make immersive sketches and notes.
In addition, the X-pen has Intelligent gesture which can quickly erase the modified content, export pictures / format easily to spreadsheets, word document and handwritten font is easily translated into text. The AR powered X Pen can be also used for measuring real objects by using the AR Measure feature. The handset features a compartment for the X Pen stylus at its bottom side.
The newly upgraded X Pen combines AI and AR technology to redefine the fun of drawing experiences that go beyond the norm empowering the user’s inspiration to generate genius ideas.

The Note 6 comes with a LED flash enabled triple camera setup on its rear which have different functions that result in quality pictures captured. The triple rear camera features a 16-megapixel as the primary sensor, an 8-megapixel intelligent 120 degree wide angle lens and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with a front-facing camera of 16-meagpixel which includes a 3D beautification function for a more natural beauty effect for that perfect selfie photo and video as well as numerous AR stickers to animate your videos and selfies as well.
The camera can shoot videos up to 1080p and has a fingerprint scanner at the back panel for security.
The body design for the NOTE6 is slimmer with a 7.7mm thickness giving you the portability to move about with the device in your pocket or purse.
The MediaTek Helio P35 chipset that includes an octa-core processor that works at 2.3 GHz supported by a 4GB RAM and a storage capacity of 64GB expandable to 128GB with a hybrid SIM slot on the device for a microSD card.
The smartphone runs on Android 9 Pie operating system with XOS 5.0 Cheetah running on top of it covered by a non-removable 4,000mAh battery, which lasts up to 3 days on a single charge. Despite the reduction in battery capacity compared to its predecessor, the NOTE5 which had 4500mAh, the NOTE6 has an AI battery app which optimizes power management intelligently giving you a 3-day-life battery.
However, the Battery consumption varies depending on the user (there are two types of users, average user and a heavy user).
Connectivity options on the Infinix Note 6 include Wi-Fi, GPS, USB OTG, and Micro-USB. Sensors on the phone include ambient light sensor, compass/ magnetometer, gyroscope, proximity sensor, and fingerprint sensor.
The NOTE6 comes in three colors, Midnight Black and Mocha Brown and Aqua Blue colors.

Movit continues to invest in Northern Uganda through the Irene Gleeson Charity Walk

Movit Products Limited (MPL) has this year continued to contribute to the improvement of the standards of the people living in northern Uganda, primarily focusing on education and health.
For the 5th year running, MPL continues to partner with Irene Gleeson Foundation to contribute to the lives of 1000s of pupils and families across the region through ensuring that the good work started by “Maama” Irene continues to live on.
Irene Gleeson was an Australian Philanthropist recognized for her service to international relations, particularly through her sustained humanitarian work amongst children affected by war and HIV/AIDS in Northern Uganda, Irene was named an Officer of the Order of Australia in June 2009.
This year’s contribution is geared towards the completion of the construction of the Irene Gleeson Memorial public library and youth training center. The project that is still under construction started last year. Movit Products Ltd has this year given a total package valued at 30 Million Uganda Shillings as a contribution towards the Irene Gleeson Charity Walk.
This Saturday, July 20th, the Charity walk will host over 10,000 people in Kitgum in Northern Uganda under the theme “Walking to promote learning and development” to honor the life of Maama Irene Gleeson and support the construction of the community library.
This facility, the first of its kind in Acholi sub region will improve access to quality learning materials that will advance learning for suitable development through literature, art and culture of the local community, help provide youth skilling opportunities for job creation as well as facilitating research.
The guest of Honor Hon. Okello Oryem Minister of foreign affairs acknowledged that Irene Gleeson was an extraordinary woman and no single Ugandan has done the work that she did in Northern Uganda as he thanked Movit for the contribution. “I thank you for your contribution towards this noble cause, last year the company made a very fundamental
contribution worth 80 Million Uganda shillings which helped us start the foundation of the library.” He said.
According to the Chief Commercial Officer Movit Products Limited, the company will continue to support the foundation’s initiatives and other community activities. “We understand that a brighter future starts with an education and giving children everywhere the tools and support they need to find success in school and in life. It is our responsibility as a company to care about the wellbeing of the communities that we operate in.” the Chief Commercial Officer MPL said.
Fresh Dairy extends it’s yoghurt family, Introduces the new Brookside Fruit Yoghurt

The new Brookside Fruit Yoghurt, another product of Fresh Dairy currently comes in four flavours: Pear Caramel, Lemon biscuits, Strawberry and Vanilla and is packaged in 100gm, 150gm, 250gm and 450gm cups only. The new Brookside Fruit Yoghurt which is being sold alongside the Fresh Dairy flavoured Yoghurt, has been reasonably priced with Recommended Retail Prices: 450 gm Cup at 4,200 Ushs, 250 gm Cup at 2,400 Ushs, 150 gm Cup at 1,700 Ushs, 100 gm Cup at 1,100 Ushs. Talking to press this morning at Fresh Diary offices the Marketing Manager Vincent Omoth said, ‘Informed by robust research and a desire to meet the ever increasing consumer needs for variety through product innovations, Fresh Dairy has today launched the new Brookside Fruit Yoghurt, which contains real fruit and does not have preservatives or artificial additives. The combination of Yoghurt and Fruits which are both nutrient-rich foods gives consumers a blend of nutrients to include Vitamin A, B, C, D, E, Calcium and Potassium among others, making the new Brookside Fruit Yoghurt, a healthy and nutritious choice. The addition of the new Brookside Fruit Yoghurt onto our product line implies that we have increased on the local uptake of raw milk from our farmers. Fresh Dairy currently works with over 30,000 small and large local farmers from whom we source all the milk used in our products. At Fresh Dairy, we believe that good quality milk products are made from good quality milk. The advanced IML technology enhances the product’s security features to curb counterfeits. This is the same technology that we use to process and pack the popular Fresh Dairy Yoghurt (without fruits), which consumers enjoy for its thickness, aroma, flavours and natural taste of yoghurt.’ Operations Manager Jonathan Williams added.
