With all players in camp at FUFA technical centre in Njeru, Jinja for residential training, Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic is optimistic that the boys will put up a good fight when they face Tanzania this weekend.
Uganda will travel to Zanzibar towards the end of this week for their preliminary round clash with Tanzania in the African Nations Championship (CHAN).
“I am absolutely satisfied. Everyone is committed. We are in good spirits to put up a fight on Saturday,” coach Micho revealed to the federation’s official website.
During a training session in Njeru, 23 players out of the summoned 28 participated in the drills with BUL’s attacking midfielder Milton Karisa also joining the rest of the squad.
“I have been given this chance which I must use to perfection and prove I deserve to be in the National team,” an excited Karisa said.
