Ugandan beer brand, Bell Lager has a new look. The new look was unveiled on Friday evening during the NTV Mix Show in a campaign codenamed “Fresh Vibez”.
To spice up the launch, viewers were treated to performances from Vinka and Rickman Manrick. Dressed in a jumpsuit and a faux fur hoodie, Vinka was the first on stage. She ambled onto stage, amid a dance showcase, while dragging along an ice cooler box from which she later dramatically pulled out the new rebranded Bell lager to unveil the new look. After revealing the new look, she went on to entertain viewers with some of her hit songs including the latest single, “Thank God”.
Rickman also did not disappoint, bringing a lot of energy on stage. He performed several of his popular songs like “Ebango Waliwanika”, “Tunyumirwe” and “Tusimbudde” among others. To add icing to the performance, he invited his girlfriend, Sheilah Gashumba on stage for a steamy dance.
Speaking at the launch, Matilda Babuleka, the Brand Manager Bell Lager said, “This new look is a celebration of Uganda’s timeless spirit to match a generation of young and fresh consumers.” She further noted that its only the bottle has been rebranded, but the product remains unchanged.
In the new look, the beer’s neck label is horizontal whereas the Monde Selection awards include 2019 and the colour has been changed to a more champagne-like look. The position of the crown at the front of the bottle has also changed.
