Carol Nantongo recently addressed the lingering speculation about her past friendship with Lydia Jazmine, as tensions surrounding their fallout are unclear.

Once close friends and almost inseparable in the public eye, the two singers seemed to part ways under unclear circumstances.
In a recent interview, Carol shared her perspective on the situation, choosing not to dwell on the reasons behind their estrangement.
When asked how she would react if Lydia Jazmine supported her upcoming concert in December with a social media “drop” or endorsement, Carol sidestepped the question.

“I have no issue with Lydia; it’s the media and public that want to create unnecessary drama,” Carol remarked, dispelling rumors of animosity between them. She further emphasized her stance by asking if she’d ever been seen speaking negatively about anyone in interviews.
“Have you seen me in an interview abusing someone?! But let’s just respect her and leave her out of this discussion,” she insisted, making it clear that she would rather avoid reigniting old conversations.
As the interviewer pushed for her opinion on what would happen if Lydia attended her concert, Carol reiterated her preference to move on from the topic, subtly hinting that she’s focused on her career rather than revisiting past conflicts.
