Nsambya Hospital is under public scrutiny following a recent altercation between Alien Skin and the facility’s medical staff. In the wake of this incident, several individuals have come forward to share their troubling experiences at the hospital, including Allan Hendrik Ssali, son of Bebe Cool.
Allan Hendrik opened up about a terrible ordeal he encountered while seeking medical help for a friend who had been injured in a boda boda accident.
The friend had sustained a broken leg, and Allan acted swiftly to rush him to Nsambya Hospital, hoping to secure prompt treatment.
However, upon arrival, Allan encountered unexpected challenges. “I called one of my doctor friends who works there and asked him to assist. He told me to reach out to him upon arrival so he could coordinate with the nurses,” he shared. Despite this connection, things took a frustrating turn.

When the doctor liaised with the nurse on duty, Allan and his friend were told there were no available beds for admission.
While they waited, his friend’s condition worsened, but the nurse showed little urgency or concern. “She just sat at her computer, sipping yoghurt, and acted like we didn’t matter,” Allan recounted.
After waiting for an hour without any meaningful assistance, Allan and his companions made the difficult decision to transfer the injured friend to another hospital, where he finally received the care he needed. “The treatment at Nsambya was awkward and bad,” Allan concluded, reflecting on the ordeal.
