By Davis Kyesswa: Derrick Katongole alias Victor Kamenyo has over the past days tried to pull the attention of Ugandans through all possible means available.
He has partly succeeded and partly failed in this endeavor.
Kamenyo whose video while pulling shirts with his girlfriend emerged at the end of last week has since become a usual face on the streets of social media as many have termed him, ‘a clown’ others, ‘a new comer’ and many other descriptions.
Despite the much sympathy that some have for him, many have also come out to trash all that he is doing, also adding that he is looking to pull off a stunt so as to promote his speculated upcoming show.
It is rumored that the ‘Nduulu’ singer is organizing a music event at Summer Gardens in Mukono, this coming month for which he had failed to find means to promote until he thought about his usual public stunts.
Many critics have also come out to bash Kamenyo’s acting skills and grammatical expression, calling out the rapper to improve.
This, after he took his time to pen down what he termed as an apology letter to his girlfriend, Ruth which at some point appeared to be a script for fresh kid’s lullaby.
Kamenyo released a song to sum up the situation he is going through but unfortunately it didn’t get the attention he thought it deserved. Many scrapped it.
The rapper is an artist who has always driven on controversies. After his failed political ambitions, he now seeks to gain relevance again in the public.
