Musician Eddy Kenzo has ranked the Eddy Kenzo Festival as Uganda’s biggest music event ever, citing the numbers of people who attended the main event at Kololo Independence Grounds and the various Road to Eddy Kenzo Festival shows held across the country.

Speaking about the festival, Kenzo maintained that he ranks it number one because of its nationwide reach, arguing that the numbers behind the events support his claim.
“To me, I rank it number one because it was all over the country,” he said.
The singer explained that music is largely a numbers game and believes that when the attendance at the main festival is combined with that of the Road to Eddy Kenzo Festival shows, the total audience would be too large to fit into a single venue in Uganda.
Responding to critics who have questioned his claim, Kenzo acknowledged that everyone is entitled to their own opinions and can view the matter differently. However, he encouraged them to examine the available figures before drawing conclusions.
“When you type Road to Eddy Kenzo Festival and Eddy Kenzo Festival Kololo on YouTube, you’ll be able to see the numbers I’m talking about,” he said.
He urged those who disagree with his assessment to conduct their own research using the figures available on YouTube, maintaining that the numbers provide a basis for his ranking.
