The Most Valuable player (MVP) in the 2016 Uganda Premier League awards that are slated for Friday 12th August at Serena Hotel in Kampala will cruise away in a brand new Subaru Forester, registration No. UAZ 038F.

KCCA FC left back Joseph Benson Ochaya who is currently away to South Africa for trails with Bidvest Wits will battle it out with Vipers’ striker Erisa Ssekisambu and 2015/16 league top scorer Robert Ssentongo with 18goals (URA FC center forward) for the MVP accolade.

Ochaya has already won the Kasasiro Boys’ season MVP honor before departing for trials in South Africa.

Ssekisambu on the hand was the runner up for the league top scorer’s boot with a tally of 16 goals and also managed to net seven times in the Uganda Cup, guiding his side to the triumph of the annual competition after beating Onduparaka FC by 3-1 in the finals at Nakivubo Stadium in mid-June.

Ssekisambu also became the first player to win the Uganda Cup twice in a row with two different clubs having lifted the trophy in 2015 with SC Villa.
