With barely two days left for Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) to clash with Assm Elgeco Plus in the CAF Confederation Cup, the tax collectors have shifted their training sessions from their official training grounds Hormis dallen Primary School in Gayaza to Namboole stadium.
“The team will start training at Mandela national stadium-Namboole today at 03:00pm.There will be a press briefing at the stadium before training,” reads a statement on the club’s official website.
Meanwhile their opponents Assm Elgeco Plus from Madagascar and the Match officials from Djibouti arrived yesterday night in the country with a 30-man visiting contingent of players and officials aboard Kenyan Airlines, flight KQ 416 from Nairobi.
“They sought their own accommodation as per the latest CAF Rules and regulations and are accommodated at Pope Paul Memorial Hotel, Rubaga. They will train from Gayaza (Homes dallen primary school) on Wednesday before training at Namboole on the match eve (Thursday) as per the CAF Match competition rules and regulations,” reads a statement on the FUFA website.
