Moses Kiboneka, commonly known by his stage name ‘Uncle Mo’ has scooped himself a juicy deal with Vivo Energy Uganda.
He will spearhead a campaign to educate and empower motorists to make informed decisions about the best motor engine oils, championed by Shell’s high quality motor engine oils, Shell Helix and Shell Rimula.
Known for his satirical take to current affairs through his YouTube channel, Uncle Mo has perfected the art of mashing up humor and satire earning him a great following on his YouTube Channel (I Am Uncle Mo).
But most importantly, he is also a mechanic and also the Director at Nyange Automobile Workshop. He admits that much as he loves a couple of things, fixing cars is something he enjoys to do.
Speaking at the Lubricants education campaign launch, he said motorist should seek for the right information when it comes to their cars. He noted that there’s a lot of wrong information and lots of counterfeit oils on the market which has led many car owners damage their cars.
‘’Bad oil is like a cancer. It will eat your car engine slowly and by the time one starts to see the effects on the car, a lot of damage has been done,’’ added Uncle Mo.
As part of this deal, Uncle Mo will participate in a series of countrywide auto clinics offering professional car diagnostics among other engagements.
He will be part of the motor experts that will be sharing tips on car maintenance in the various auto clinics that will be running countrywide throughout the campaign.
