Ugandan singer, Dr. Jose Chameleone has hinted on the fact that Ugandans have been cold with him for a long time.

Chameleone who has a new hit called ‘Bwerere’ said that the industry has refused to appreciate him despite all the good he has done.

He went on Facebook to vent his frustration. He posted; “Been denied so many years! Not played but recognized. I lift my body and soul to those that have spent their time voting for me.”

According to Ugandan music industry gurus, Chameleone could be frustrated for not being recognized after spending a lot of time and effort trying to sale Ugandan music with no major recognition.

“Kenzo came on the scene recently, and he won a BET award. I think he feels bad that Ugandans have not done a lot for him yet he has been here through thick and thin,” said s source.

Fingers crossed for him to win an MTV Award. We will keep you posted.
