The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) has organized the first ever Assessor Course for Ugandan referees ahead of the new season.
The development was confirmed by the local football governing body’s CEO, Edgar Watson who also doubles as the federation’s on Tuesday during a press conference at the FUFA house in Mengo Kampala.
While addressing the media, Watson said; “The Referees’ assessors course is confirmed for the 15th and 16th July 2016 at the FUFA Technical center in Njeru. Only those assessors who have been in practice are legible to attend.”
The referees have always undergone only fitness tests before the start of a new season.
