Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed the arrival of Ugandan international defender Ivan Bukenya on trial at the club.
The AmaKhosi have long been searching for a new centre-back to provide competition for Erick Mathoho, Tefu Mashamaite and the injury-prone Morgan Gould, and believe Bukenya could be the man.
“Bukenya has arrived at the Club, will train with the Team and as soon as we get the word from the Football Department we will make further announcements,” Chiefs’ said Corporate Communications Manager Vina Maphosa said.
“He is a free agent at the moment and the Technical Team has an opportunity to look at him.”
