The Uganda premier league (UPL) secretariat has called off some of the league fixtures that were due this week all in favor for ample preparations for the Uganda Cranes ahead of their clash with Togo on Saturday.

The Uganda premier league committee found it wise to have some of the games scraped off and rescheduled to another date to give room for proper preparations. The committee says that some of these teams have many of their star players summoned for national duty and had to comply.

Uganda host Togo this Saturday on the 11th of October 2014 at Namboole stadium before traveling to Lome, Togo to face the same opponents in the return leg just four days after the weekend clash.

The games postponed include:

Vipers SC Vs Rwenshama FC
KCC FC Vs Kira Young FC
BUL FC Vs SC Villa
URA FC Vs SC VU

However some matches will be played as earlier scheduled that is on 7th and 8th October, 2014. They include:

Lweza FC Vs Entebbe FC
Police Vs Sadolin Paints FC
Express FC Vs Bright Stars FC
Soana FC Vs Simba FC
