James Gandolfini, famed for his ‘Tony Soprano’ performance was on a father-son trip with his teenage son when the actor and producer, 51, was found dead, allegedly due to a heart attack.

With the news of Gandolfini’s passing, Hollywood turned to social media platforms like Twitter to pay tribute:

According to latest info Lil Kid Uganda and his management, this beef was sparked off by the fact that both musicians record music in the same studio, the Kawempe based “Badman Records.”While talking to the “Bali Bali” rapper, Lil Kid, he ensured that there’s no bad blood between the two of them, in fact they are friends and very soon they might surprise their fans with a collabo.”Me and Fresh Kid have no beef, we are friends and if things go well, we might release a collabo together, i don’t even know why people say we beef each-other,”

In the music industry of Uganda, young rappers have always been fighting eachother through songs but it looks like now all that is about to end.

Kenya’s Nameless on this week’s Comedy Store line-up as Gravity Omutujju makes debut appearance

Comedy Store propriator Alex Muhangi pledged to his Comedy Store audience a star act every month since June and he has not fallen short since. After Diamond Platnumz, Basketmouth and Klint D Drunk, reliable sources have revealed that Alex Muhangi will this week fly in Kenyan dancehall and RnB sensation David Mathenge aka Nameless.

Nameless will fly in with his dancers and as expected the audience will reminisce on some real old good music. Nameless is a household name in East Africa with hits like Nasinzia Nikikuwaza, Inspire, Coming home, Your lover, Butterfly among many more hits.

This week’s Comedy Store will also see Ugandan rapper Gravity Omutujju for the first time ever feature on the show. Comedy Store attendees will for the first time ever witness Gravity’s free flow at the show this Thursday, an experience we all would like to witness.

This Thursday’s show will have female songster and dive Iryn Namubiru. It is a show anyone would not love to miss.

Comedy Store will charge 20,000ugx stardard ticket, 50,000ugx VIP and 500,000ugx for a table of four.

Food Lovers brave cold evening to feast at Meat Carnival

Food lovers gathered at Najeera Gardens on Saturday evening for a fire-crackling edition of the East African Meat Carnival that attracted many revelers seeking food asylum from the afternoon’s downpour, and indeed foodies’ cravings were satiated.

The August edition had many food lovers at the venue clearing their platters and plates with the many meaty treats that Chef Mark Kaheru and his cooking troopers had prepared for the guests.

The fast-growing series of food events sponsored by Tusker Lite had revelers indulge in the palette-thrilling carnival till late in the night in the company of good friends and lively Utake music that played on all evening long.

It was simply a fiesta that ended the month of August in delicious satisfactory style with others wishing they could have more of the food.

The carnival party animals who reveled to the sounds of East African old and new music promised to be set up camp once again for the September edition coming up in a few weeks’ time.
