TOURISM BEAUTIES BATTLE FOR REGIONAL CROWN

Final preparations for the Miss Tourism Eastern 2014 finale are under way as 12 beautiful delegates perfect their strut and plan their final speech to impress the judges and audience on Saturday 23rd, August.

The event that will be held at Mt. Elgon Hotel and Spa, will be graced by Eng. Hon Irene Muloni, the Minister for Energy.

A crack group of Ugandan artistes have been confirmed to perform on the night with a fusion of the Gisu cultural performances.

The Miss Tourism Eastern with a theme, “Our Beauty, Our Heritage, Our Pride”, will see contestants take on different challenges and tasks. The top three girls from Saturday’s final will compete for the crown at the grand finale to be held at Serena hotel on October 17th, 2014.

Tickets are already on sale at different points like at Mt. Elgon Hotel and Spa in Mbale, Kakungulu Safaris, Step FM, Almaz. Tickets go for 10,000/= regular, 40,000/= VIP (50,000/= at the gate).

Uganda Wildlife Authority (UWA), Kakungulu Safaris, Kenya Airways, and Serena Hotel are some of this year’s major partners.
