We wish to note that this list is not in any particular order or greatness and thus one’s ranking does not correlate with one’s greatness compared to another one below. These are the rappers, who have done Luganda hiphop and done it to a great level in Uganda.
1. GNL Zamba
The CEO of Baboon Forest Entertainment may be referred to as the Messiah of Lugaflow. He is the one who actually commercialized Lugaflow and saw it take over the Ugandan scenes. No one will forget his famous ‘Soda Jinjale’ song. He deserves maximum respect.

2. Rocky Giant
He claims to be the guy who introduced Lugaflow in Uganda, noting that he began doing it before he was 16 years of age. One of the songs that launched him was the ‘Paka Last’ song and the title went on to be used by Warid Telecom for its special calling package.
3. MUN-G
This is one guy who will get you hinged onto a song and leave you in stitches as you hear him sing. He is the king of one-liners. He knows how to study the market and offer it exactly that which it wants.
4. DON-MC
Ohhhhh yeah, Kapata is another comical Lugaflow artiste. He has a very unique style and that makes him to top the arena and see himself among the top 5 lugaflow artistes in Uganda.
5. Babaluku
He is like the God of Lugaflow in Uganda. He is the guy who actually coined the word ‘lugaflow’. He knows Hiphop in and out, and to him it’s not just about profit but the holistic role Hiphop plays in society. He is the guy behind Bavubuka Foundation, a platform that has nurtured many talented rappers.
