TOP FIVE UGANDAN DEEJAYS THAT ROCKED 2014.

You surely agree with me when I say that Music Deejay’s have taken the Ugandan entertainment scene by storm. In the year 2014, Ugandan deejays took to the center stage as they were accorded celebrity status thanks to their special spinning skills that keep revelers happy on the dance floor. Here are your top 5 Ugandan Deejays of 2014.

Deejay Aludah.

You all saw how he kept the Big Brother Africa housemates on the dance floor during his visit to the house recently, Aludah is definitely one of the best disc spinners of 2014. He started deejaying with his brother John Smart at Sax hotel. He then became the official DJ of Homeboyz in Kenya for around 5 months. He came back to Uganda in 2005 where he pursued a serious professional deejaying career.

He became a celebrated Dj when he showcased his deejaying skills at Kyoto. He won an award in the Pilsner spin master competition. The Channel O basement DJ says that winning the Pilsner award was one of his best experiences ever and he is ready to take on 2015.

DJ Alex Ndaula.

He is as old as FM radio in Uganda. Alex Ndaula is also best known for his also known for his old skool mixes. He started deejaying at Sanyu FM before he moved to Capital FM where he does an evening show. Alex has remained relevant to the deejaying world through 2014. We look forward to seeing more of him in 2015.

DJ Bush Baby.

Urban TV station manager, Michael Owor, who first made a major appearance on East Africa radio is a master at spinning disks and has continued to shine through 2014. Bush is the official DJ of XFM a funky urban youth station broadcasting out of Kampala. He has remained loved by fans old and young for his deejaying skills.

DJ Shiru

Ranked among the best African Deejays, DJ Shiru is popularly known as 256 spin doctor. Shiru began deejaying at a tender age of 17 following his brother who was a DJ at the time. The award winning Deejay has managed to scoop several gigs in and outside the continent. Throughout 2014, he has remained relevant to the youth spinning in different clubs, TV stations and at several youth events like Buzz Leavers rock. We look forward to seeing more of Shiru in 2015.

DJ Joe

DJ Jo

He hosts a music show on Radio City 97FM, he has been at the top of his game all through 2014 and continues to remain relevant to the youth. The Black and proud Deejay is praised for knowing a lot of music, both new and old and playing it as the people want. His mixes have taken over 2014 getting him celebrity status.

Other deejays that rocked 2014 include DJ Baby Love, DJ Andrea, Dj Karo, DJ Apeman, Dj Beekay, DJ Global, DJ XZYL, DJ Cissie and Crim to mention but a few.
