For quite some time, it’s been moving incognito that there are wrangles in circles of comedy in Uganda. Now it has come to light and Idringi Salvado’s camp seems to be under fire as most of the top comedians in “kings of comedy” group (crackers) decide to put down their tools.

This has been attributed to lack of respect for his fellow comedians. It is said that he believes he is the mastermind of all that goes in the circles of comedy and this has continuously irritated other comedians.

The worst came to the worst today when Idiringi advertised comedians on his posters prior their knowledge for an upcoming show of Wednesday and Friday at Theatre Labonita. “He’s become a thorn in our feet and this has to come to an end”. Said one comedian who preferred unanimity.

According to the fun factory the actors of U Turn led by David, the group officially came out to denounce their knowledge of these shows on their facebook page,

“DEAR FUN FACTORY/ U-TURN FANS, we Confirm that we only have one show this week at the National Theatre “END OF MONTH ORGANISED CHAOS.”
We are therefore not performing at Theatre Labonita with Crackers for Wednesday and Friday as they claim.

Other comedians that pulled out of this include omukebete, MC Kapale, Pablo, Ssebakigye etc.

However this is not yet to stop comedy from flourishing as other platforms keep cropping up day in day out. People have always caught up with them at laftaz every Tuesday at Centenary Park and Comedy explosion at Labonita so no worries for comedy fans.
