Miss Uganda Abenakyo Quiin returned to a pompous welcome on Wednesday afternoon. The beauty queen was returning from China where she competed in the Miss World beauty pageant in which she emerged 3rd and was crowned Miss World Africa.

She could not hide tears of joy as she reveled in the love from her family and friends who converged at Entebbe airport to receive her. The welcoming delegation also included Tourism state minister Godfrey Kiwanda, a team from Uganda Tourism Board led by former lands minister Daudi Migereko, and former Miss Uganda winners among others.

“I dont have the words to describe how I feel right now. I am very humbled. Thanks for the love and supporting me on my journey to Miss World Africa.” She said.
