Villa-Express

By James Robert Kayindi

The FUFA Azam Uganda Premier League clash between the Red Eagles of Express and the Blues of SC Villa has come to a standstill at Muteesa II Royal Stadium in Wankulukuku following chaos that was sparked off by the Express fans.

It all started when Villa scored their equalizer through Eria Ssekisambu in the 84th minute, just six minutes after Express had been reduced to 10 men when Ibra Kayiwa received matching orders from the referee. Express had taken the lead through John Ssemazzi in the 49th minute of the game after a barren first half.

The police has decided to fire tear gas to calm down the situation.

It’s still uncertain whether the game will continue.
