When life hands you lemons, make lemonade, so goes a popular adage. Renowned media personality Straka Mwezi has heeded to this adage.
Straka who recently made headlines after her landlord exposed her for defaulting rent is using the same scandal to forge a music career. She was allegedly caught in the wee hours of the morning loading her property onto a truck to escape without clearing her rent arrears. According to her landlord, a one Nsubuga, Straka owed up to Ugx 5 million in rent arrears accumulated over a period of about 6 months.
She has now released a new single titled “Landlords” in which she disses her landlord and opens up about her experience as a tenant.
