SSENTONGO’S HAT-TRICK GIVES URA SECOND WIN AS SCVU LOSE SECOND GAME IN A ROW

At the Metah stadium in Lugazi, Uganda Cranes Striker, Robert Ssentongo scored a remarkable hat-trick to guide the Tax Collectors to a second successive victory in a row this season as they thrashed Entebbe F.C by 5-0 on Friday evening.

Midfielders, Patrick Ochan and Miloc Illic were the other two players on the score sheet as Alex Isabirye bagged his second win of the season. Robert Ssentongo is the only player to score a hat-trick this season so far and put his tally to 4goals having scored against Victoria University on Tuesday 21st at the same stadium.

Elsewhere, Vipers narrowed the gap on the table leaders, SC Villa, with a 2-1 home win over Kiira Young in Buikwe. The industrious Mike Mutyaba was again on the score board together with Saddam Ibrahim Juma as Vipers returned to their winning ways. Bright Haguma scored the consolation goal for Kiira Young. Vipers are second on the table with 13points as table leaders SC villa who have a better goal difference.

At the Wankulukuku stadium, Express scored an 87th minute goal through Emmanuel Kalyowa to claim a late victory against Victoria University who seemed ready to walk away with a draw on the evening as they suffered their second loss in a row.

Vipers 2 – 1 Kira Young (Buikwe)
