Spice Diana has shared a piece of advice for fellow musicians, especially those who have already established their names in the industry—stop chasing hit songs.

Speaking openly about her own journey, Spice Diana said she no longer feels the pressure to produce a viral track with every release. Instead, she focuses on maintaining her brand and legacy.
“The only time I needed a hit was the Onsanula time, maybe in Nkoona too,” she explained. “As you grow up, you just fight to maintain your name.”
According to Spice, the sustainability of an artist’s career relies more on the strength of their brand than on chart-topping singles. She believes it’s the artist’s name that gives their music continued relevance and power.
“If I didn’t have the Spice Diana name, and if I didn’t maintain it, nobody would dance to Onsanula,” she said. “But they dance to the song because Spice Diana still exists.”
