By Tuhairwe Joab

Dancehall musician Ziza Bafana recently traveled to South Africa  to work on a couple of music videos, however, he was shocked to learn that most South Africans don’t know about Ugandan music, especially his genre. According to Bafana, all that these people know is mostly hip-hop and RnB.

Meanwhile, Bafana has been able to visit a couple of international media houses that have their bases in South Africa like MTV, and Trace Urban among others trying to market his music and he says the response was positive.

“I was told it’s cool music but we need to put more effort in production especially videos,” said Bafana.

The singer is expected back in the country in about a fortnight after finalizing his videos.
