Sound Prints, a leading music and entertainment record label in Uganda, has signed new music stars. The label has unveiled their new signing in the names of Voltage. Voltage is a Ugandan dancehall duo made up of Kent and Flosso.
Voltage started in 2008 when Kent was introduced to Flosso, and they did their first song together titled Stranger. The duo went on to record another song with gospel singer Levixone titled Blanket in 2009.
In 2011, Voltage worked with Chisso, under Fastlane, where they produced three albums. They also wrote two songs for Bebe Cool, Lwalero and Sweet Banana, which featured on Bebe’s Go Mama Album.
Voltage now joins other singers on the label like Obsessions Africa and Ozed among others. The duo already has three songs to their name under their new label – Engeri Jokilola, Tom and Jerry, and Pressure.
