Slick Stuart, Roja Mixtape Parte ripe for Friday

Slick Stuart and Roja are as excited as their fans their mixtape parte this Friday at UMA Lugogo. The duo last evening promised a much improved show to the previous ones given the experience from previous editions.

The duo besides their own exhibition have promised performances from artistes Bebe Cool, Rema, Fik Fameica, Tonix, Exodus, Beenie Gunter among others.

A ticket will cost 20,000ugx and a table 1M.

Genesis of Mixtape Parte

The party which was birthed in 2014 with the inaugural edition hosted at Club Venom has continued to grow bigger and better over the years.

Following a successful first edition, the party was next shifted to Laftaz Swimming Pool where it was held in 2015 and 2016. The duo then moved the party to Golf Course Hotel for the 4th and 5th editions.

Full Figure has expressed disappointment about the diminishing music industry. According to Full Figure, tue music industry has lost values and true talent.

She said “Ugandan Music Industry died the day Kabako and John Blaq joined music. You can’t put me on the same stage with those fake artists. Am on another level don’t compare me with the fake “Bwabwabwa” artists. I have my studio, my sound system and my businesses. Am a business woman who eats less from music.”

‘Shoot Them All’ RabaDaba drops new song

Last night Dancehall Veteran Rabadaba dropped visuals for ‘’shoot them all’’ one of the two videos he shot approximately last month. Raba’s lyrics have always been about self-praise and verbal attack and ‘’shoot them all’’ is no different.

The Video director Losso gave it a twist by translating the ‘’shoot’’ to mean shooting in photography rather than the ‘’shoot’’ for Guns. This explains why Raba is seen in the video in a photo shoot with models shooting them all one by one with an old skul photo camera.

This is definitely one of Raba’s biggest projects this year.
