The latest we have is that the UK concert dubbed “Mulirwana Tugende Mubinyuma” is at a verge of being cancelled after Sarah Musayimuto threw in the towel over issues of poor pay from Richmond productions, the concert organisers. Its rumored Coco Finger and King Saha are threatening to do the same if their payments are not dealt with in time.
According to sources, organizers of the concert have been facing a lot of financial challenges and were forced to even change concert venue from the Royal Regency in London to La Royal Banqueting Suites in Tottenham.
Sarah Musayimuto released a statement about the concert snub saying;
“Am sorry to inform you that I will not be able to attend “Tugendde Mubinyuma” UK due to circumstances beyond my control; I will not be able to attend. It was a very difficult decision however, I am saddened that I will miss the opportunity to meet all my fans because they are very important to me. I hate to cancel any event and disappoint them. I deeply apologize to all my fans that had planned to meet me, but I am hoping that I will be able to return on a future date to meet with you all. I am sorry sincerely”
Meanwhile, Richmond Productions is working tooth and nail to keep the plans together and progressing. However, Richmond has a history of being one of the most un-trusted shrewd promoters in the Diaspora after having fallen out bitterly with several artistes like singer Chameleone over money related issues.
