Shakib Cham has publicly dismissed the rumors that his wife, Zari Hassan, is financially supporting him.
Contrary to widespread speculation, Shakib said that he works hard to make his own living, stating, “I hustle like a man to survive.”
Shakib further clarified that Zari is known for her stinginess and rarely gives money to anyone, including him.
He shared that the only time Zari handed him cash was during a trip to Tanzania, where she earned around $40,000 (approximately Shs150 million) but only gave him $2,000 (about Shs7.4 million).
In addition to addressing the financial aspect of their relationship, Shakib emphasized that his love for Zari is genuine and not influenced by external factors such as her children.
He made it clear that their relationship is rooted in love, not material or familial considerations.
