The Uganda Kobs stepped up their preparations for the return league against Mozambique with a friendly against Big League side, Maroons F.C who they managed to defeat 2-0 yesterday at the Uganda Prisons play ground.

The goals were scored by Uganda Cranes junior star striker Yunus Sentamu who features for Tunisia’s Sfaxien and Vipers’ talisman Julius Malingumu as the Kobs thrashed the Maroons.

The Kobs will soon be moving in at the Njeru Technical center in Jinja where they will undergo residential training.

Uganda will host Mozambique at the Nakivubo Stadium for the second leg of the all Africa games qualifiers whose finals will be played later this year in September in Congo Brazzaville. The victor of the two sides after both legs could face off with Ghana in the next round.
