Sports Club Villa will be hoping to unleash their new Ivorian striker Boue Bi Marc Olivier when they host Soana football club on Tuesday evening at Namboole Stadium in the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL).

According to the club’s official Facebook page, Blue Bi joined the Nsambya based camp from Ivory Coast’s third division side Atlantis where he scored 10 goals last season.

The Jogoos didn’t have any weekend action while Soana shared the Spoils with Kawempe based side, Bright Starts who host their home games from the champion stadium, Mwererwe in a goalless draw. Villa’s last league game was a 3-0 win over Proline FC on Tuesday last week while Soana thrashed Police FC by 3-0 on the same day in the Kavumba derby before their weekend draw.

The hosts will be waiting to welcome home their former head coach Omulangila Bamweyana Sam Ssimbwa who is now the lead tactician at Soana. Ssimbwa led the Jogoos in the 2014/2015 campaign before being sacked less than three months to the end of the season and was replaced by his assistant coach, Ibrahim Kirya who guided the club to a Uganda Cup victory in the same season.

The Doe Sserwada-coached side are second on the table with 11 points from five matches and the only side that is yet to concede a goal this season while Soana are in third place, level on points with their Tuesday opponent but have played a game more.

Soana have only conceded three goals this season; only Kirinya Jinja SS and Villa have defended better than them.
