SC Villa players have been given an Eid Mubarak package ahead of the end of Ramadan celebrations.
On Sunday, the club management met with all their players at Villa Park in Nsambya without the exclusion of the new recruits and served all of them with a package each that consisted of a bunch of Matooke, meat, cooking oil and bread. New players are however said to have received their packages in secrecy.
Speaking at the event, Club president Eng. Immanuel Ben Misagga said; “We lead and others follow. We don’t discriminate whether Muslim or not.”
He later added that Jogoos are not in the quest for any new players because the ones they have can still get the job done.
This comes after the 16-time league record champions secured the services of Bernard Muwanga and Joseph Nsubuga from Bright Stars, Ayub Kisaliita from Lweza FC and Yasin Mugabi from city rivals KCCA FC. The others include; Edward Kawooya, Michael Owinya and Francis Mayega.
