The 16-time league record champions and nine time Uganda Cup winners, Sports Club Villa are looking for a new head coach to lead the Blues ahead of the 2016/2017 season.
Following a trophy-less season in which they finished fourth on the Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) table, knocked out the Uganda Cup by Onduparaka FC on the round of 32 and not forgetting their humiliating exit from the CAF Confederations Cup after suffering a 7-0 loss to FUS Rabat of Morocco, Villa surely need to make amends.
The Jogoos have been under the charges of Ibrahim Kirya as the care taker manager since taking over from Antonio Flores who was sacked in November 2015. Kirya was helped by the club’s technical director Frank ‘Video’ Anyau who always led the team in CAF competitions.
The club have now issued a job advert inviting coaches with the minimum of a CAF B class coaching license to apply for the position.
