Songstress, Sasha Brighton has opened-up on why her relationship with socialite Habib Herbert Shonga failed.

During her appearance on NBS TV ‘Afrer5’ show, Sasha Brighton cleared the air that her break-up with Shonga was on mutual consent not disastrous as it is reported.
Brighton also noted that the decision was taken by both parties for the betterment of their respective careers.
“When you are lovers and your relationship fails, I don’t think you can work together anymore. Because once the relationship fails, often one of you is still interested. So, when you decide to maintain your business together, it will completely fail. Between me and Shonga none of us dumped the other, we just reached at a time and we both concluded the affair,” Sasha Brighton said.

When asked about what some of the challenges encountered in celebrity relationships like hers, Sasha refrained from ideally representing others but rather only herself.
The ‘Kawomera’ singer said relationships like hers call for sacrifice of some personal interests to match your partner’s.
One of the repercussions of omitting doing so, is a clashing and doomed relationship.
“I won’t talk on behalf of other people but for my sake, the person I was in love with was a socialite and so I was. So, on many occasions you might find out that there are things you should forego because of your partner. If you don’t, then your relationship will automatically collapse,” Sasha added.
It should be recalled early this year, Sasha Brighton confirmed her break-up with Shonga after almost 2years in an arousing relationship.
