Comedian Salvado has spoken out on the death of Johnnie, a patron who was murdered at Club Guvnor. Salvado has said Johnnie’s ex-lover Nina, who sparked off the brawl in which his life was ended, should also been investigated.
He posted:
“A lot of people have posted about the late Jonnie, personally we’ve never met so I won’t say I knew who he was but from what I’ve read from close friends he seemed to be a pretty decent guy, full of life and focus especially from his story, how he was destined for greatness but all these traits cut short by one brutal act from a Crime of passion.
I’ve met #IvanDiesel a couple of times at Guvnor Uganda, he looked like a cool guy and every time I said hi, he always introduced his wife.. Regardless of whether he knew he had introduced her to me before or not.. He always proudly said “This is my wife” so clearly this man was so much into his wife.
Jonnie honestly didn’t deserve to go out like that. A night he was having a good time with friends becoming a tragic experience for everyone who witnessed this act of horror.
From the story, I think the woman should be thoroughly questioned coz she asked for the confrontation. The poor boy clearly was avoiding any drama by going to the 40+ section of the Club because Ivan usually parties from the main booth around the DJs box..
But apparently Nina had issues she wanted to sort out with Jonnie so she asked Ivan to go along with her.. This woman should be thoroughly grilled coz I have a feeling she must have masterminded this whole scenario since she knew both men and their characters.
But anyway, this is what I think and shouldn’t in anyway mislead anyone, I pray justice prevails and the law takes its course. To the family, friends and relatives of the late Jonnie, my heartfelt condolences, to Ivan, the law will take its course.. RIP Ahimbisibwe Jonnie”
