Are Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes headed for a breakup? That’s supposedly the case, if you believe the rumors.
A source close to Gosling tells Us Weekly that Eva’s “jealousy” is coming between them, explaining that “He can be moody, and she’s insecure. She sees a text from a mystery number and assumes he’s talking to other girls.” Adds the source that the once gregarious Mendes “shuts down anyone who brings up Ryan. It’s clear something is wrong.”
Though we have no way of knowing if this is the case, it’s worth noting that just last month, rumors swirled that the handsome duo is headed for a split because of Eva’s inability to commit to Ryan.
“The 39-year-old actress is not fulfilling 32-year-old Gosling’s dreams of marriage and having kids right now,” Fox News Latino reported on the rumors at the time. “Ryan’s friends know he is ready to settle down, 100 percent. Eva loves Ryan, but she’s very nontraditional when it comes to what she wants. She’s phobic about commitment. That’s the root of the problem.”
Conflicting reports? Rampant rumors? Yeah, seems to us like someone is wishing a little too hard Gosling and Mendes were single again.
