Despite naming his new album after her in a last ditch effort to win her back, Robin Thicke has now allegedly confirmed to friends that his marriage to Paula Patton is over.
The singer, who married the actress in 2005, will not file for divorce but ‘he’s done begging and is moving on’, TMZ states.
The couple first announced their split in February after more than 20 years together and their Hollywood Hills mansion is now thought to be on the market.
Sources close to Robin told the website that an attorney was working on a financial settlement and separating assets.
However it is believed that both the star’s are yet to hire a lawyer to take care of the proceedings.
Paula is thought to have moved out of the property she shared with the Blurred Lines hitmaker and their four-year-old son four months ago, after the now infamous snap of Robin ‘grabbing’ a female fan’s derriere emerged.
MailOnline has contacted a spokesman for the stars following these reports.
Things have not been going well for Robin of late after his latest album Paula sold a very underwhelming 530 copies during its first in the UK.
Sales of the release, which was dedicated to his estranged partner, 38, were in stark contrast to his Blurred Lines album released in July 2013 that debuted at number one on both the UK and Scottish charts.
The Get Her Back crooner was dumped by the mother-of-one amid rumours of cheating, and had poured his feelings into the album.
He recently told Good Morning America: ‘I actually have no idea what I’m doing. I’m just kinda flying by the seat of my pants on this one.’
He added: ‘I just wanted to make something artistic out of a very difficult period.’
