Ever been to a house party where the Dj or the guy playing the music seems to lack taste or any bit of idea which songs to play? And the whack music simply plays on as though the already made playlist of whack songs is playing in shuffle mode.
Sadly, I’ve been to one. It distorts the entire ambience, and then quickly that happening excitement diminishes…spontaneously! Well, maybe me and JB share that same bit of ordeal in common.
JB aka J’Baller released yet another hit single, House Party, mainly for the house parties. What a redeemer! It’s the kind of song that teleports you right from that boring zone to one of clubtastic sparkle. It starts off with such exotic abstract and futuristic synths in up tempo, which should be the trademark of the song. I like the way JB trades line for line on the beat with such ease.
The track was produced by Samurae, who I very much, without second thought, call UG’s best elite urban producer, after he made that catchy beat on Airportaxi Party for AirPorTaxi. However though, House Party’s beat is quite snappish to one who is not accustomed to techno and electronic dance genres first. Nevertheless, this hit joint is one hell of a club banger and party starter.
