In a recent social media video, star rapper Gravity Omutujju has leveled serious accusations against Bobi Wine and his team, alleging that they hacked into his Facebook page.
This comes as the latest development in a series of escalating tensions between the two artists.
Omutujju, known for his outspoken demeanor, expressed his frustration in the video, stating, “You paid off the admin of my Facebook page and you signed me out of the page.”
The rapper directly implicated Bobi Wine and his associates in what he perceives as a deliberate attempt to sabotage his online presence.
This incident marks the second time within a week that Omutujju has found himself at odds with Bobi Wine. The ongoing feud intensified earlier when Bobi Wine reportedly orchestrated the removal of Omutujju’s latest music video, “Edoboozi Lya Mutuuze,” from YouTube.
The removal of Omutujju’s video came after Bobi Wine filed a copyright infringement complaint, alleging that Omutujju borrowed elements from his song “Kiwani” without permission. Consequently, YouTube issued a strike against Omutujju’s channel, leading to the removal of the contested video.
The animosity between the two artists has been brewing for some time, with Omutujju openly mocking Bobi Wine in his music and public statements.
The recent developments indicate a further escalation of tensions between the rival musicians, with accusations of hacking and copyright infringement adding fuel to the fire.
Bobi Wine and his team have yet to respond to Omutujju’s allegations regarding the Facebook page hacking.
However, the ongoing dispute underscores the competitive nature of Uganda’s music industry and the high stakes involved for artists striving to maintain their online presence and creative integrity.
As both parties continue to exchange barbs and legal maneuvers, observers are left to speculate on the future of this contentious relationship and its potential impact on the Ugandan music scene.
