Pheobe is an outstanding character and a flawless presenter at one of the best stations in the country and this seems to be opening doors for her in the world of entertainment as she widens her scope into the film industry.
Pheobe, a P.5 pupil at Kampala Junior Academy is one of the lead characters in a local movie dubbed “Sarafina” that depicts a story of an abandoned child who grows with the father through huddles and cradles of life.
In this movie, Pheobe takes on the role of the little girl that is abandoned by her mother at the age of one and she fights her way up in life with her father who is languishing in abject poverty.
The movie derives its title from the character in the movie, Phoebe (Sarafina) who’s named by the mad woman of the village Santuliza when she super glues on her as her own baby and nicknames her Sarafina.
The movie is directed and written by T. Joab and features several other prominent actors like VJ Junior, Stella Nante Kasibante, Alex Kakooza, Semanda and Philicia.
According to the director, the project is anticipated to be out in a period of one month through Qs digital studio B.
